This electronic Building System offers the opportunity to make three models and more. Your child can create a light tag game, a room alarm, and a treasure hunt. Children can create nighttime games and set them off with a flashlight, too. There is a circuit board inside each block, and each block has its own special function. The kit requires one 9-volt battery, or it can be powered by the Logibloc battery pack. Additional directions are inside for making more models. These colorful, small blocks provide hours of learning and stimulation for your young scientist. The kit includes seven plugs that can be used together to create new items. The pieces fit other kits. Your child will learn the basic principles of logic, how things work, and how systems build together. A Cambridge engineering graduate, Inventor Tony Derivaz, designed it in the United Kingdom.
A child can begin as young as four with the Buzz Kit and continue to build. The yellow blocks are the input, and trigger the system using a button or flash of light. The blue blocks carry the signal from place to place. The orange blocks do the thinking, and make sure that everything happens correctly. The red blocks are the output; they turn things off and on, and communicate through light and sound. From the starter kit you can move to the SpaceShip Kit, an Alarm Kit, and Electric City. There are accessory packs available. This is an innovative and interesting new product line.
