Jitterbug is an arts and crafts and science project. Kids can paint the wings (14-inch wingspan) with the paints, brush and artwork that are included. The dragonfly comes with glow-in-the-dark green and black paint;  a Jitterbug butterfly, styled after the Monarch Butterfly, comes with six colors of paint. The children can create a battery-operated electrical circuit with a switch and connection. After closing the connection,  the Jitterbug skitters across a floor or desktop.
