Mattel Othello

This internationally acclaimed game that takes a minute to learn and a lifetime to master is part of the Mattel Games line-up. Players use the reversible discs (black and white) with the aim to have the most discs face-up at the end of the game. The player can flip their opponent’s disc over to their color by surrounding their disc on two sides. The game, which provides hours of fun as players increase their skill, includes 64 reversible discs, flocked game board with a slick new look and side storage trays for disc.

Othello was first introduced in Japan in 1973, and the U.S. in 1975. Mattel was started in 1945, operating in a garage workshop.
